The Offbeat folding knife is one unique knife! It is an slim EDC design that slips in your pocket.
Designed by Pat & Wes Crawford in West Memphis, Arkansas and they wanted to re-incarnate the Offbeat to once again showcase their ‘Crawford Lockback’ mechanism which is de-activated by pushing the thumb stud on the elongated cutout on the spine to the side and closing the blade. They have honed and refined this out-of the-ordinary pocket knife to perfection. This is ingenuity at its finest.
As the blade is deployed with its own ambidextrous thumb stud, the cutout slides around the butt end of the blade until it reaches a notch along the backside. Then, the cutout seats snugly into place, effectively locking the blade in the open position. In this position, the harder you grip the handles, the more secure it becomes.
It has a sturdy, low-profile, extra-long pocket clip for tip up carry only.
